Listen and play traditional music in great pubs of Miltown Malbay
"The Home Of Traditional Irish Music" is a wonderful town in which to experience authentic traditional irish music. Christy Moore and Andy Irvine, formerly of the band Planxty often attribute the town as being one of the earliest influences in their musical careers. Miltown is also famous for hosting the Willie Clancy Summer School with visitors coming from all over the world to take classes in piping, fiddle playing, bodhran, set dancing etc.
