The House
Journey's End is all about comfort and relaxation. It is filled with natural light, which accentuates the warm and calming tones of the décor throughout the house. There is a large collection of hardback lavishly illustrated books and paperbacks as well as a large DVD/CD collection for our guests to enjoy whilst relaxing during the day, or on their return from venturing in the wilds of West Clare.
There are comfy sofas to sink into after a day spent in the ocean, surfing, golfing, exploring the coastline or walking in the Burren. Bicycles and golf clubs are available for our guests to borrow on a first come first serve basis.
A raised patio at the top of the garden shows off spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean and surrounding area and is a great place to view and photograph the sunsets. Beside the rockery is a smaller patio, also a very pleasant place to while away some time enjoying views of White Strand Bay.
Hares popping up at dawn in the garden and horses and cows happily sharing the surrounding fields, all to the background of birdsong and the whoosh of the sea is part of everyday life.

All bedrooms come with TV/DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, hair-dryer, complimentary toiletries, bottled water and complimentary slippers.
The Ocean Suite
The Ocean Suite is located on the first floor and has spectacular views of the Atlantic. There is a King-Size bed with 100% cotton deluxe bedding. An adjoining seating area with a comfortable 3-seater leather sofa and multi-fuel stove enhance the comfort of this very relaxing space. A large en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet has recently been added. This is a wonderful place from which to watch the many moods of the sea and the frequent dramatic sunsets.

The Flower Suite
The Flower Suite is located on the first floor and overlooks the ocean and the garden. It has a King-Size bed with 100% cotton deluxe bedding. The calming tones of ‘Fired Earth’ décor enhance the feeling of peace and relaxation in this room. There is a separate seating area with a 2-seater leather sofa. A large Jacuzzi en-suite is a pleasing addition to this room.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room adjoins the sitting room and overlooks the garden and rockery. Alan's passion for many years has been creating delicious meals and he has completed training at the Welbeck Artisan Institute in the UK where he has perfected the art of sour-dough bread.
